Capel Crane Hire is the longest and most established crane hire company in South Western Australia and pride ourselves on our commitment to exceptional service and safe outcomes. The business consists of a main servicing and maintenance division whose expertise and solutions provide support to a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial projects, both locally and throughout Western Australia.

Due to increased demand, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Crane Technician / Mechanic to join our well-established workshop division. The position is based out of our head office in Capel with the primary task to service our fleet of mobile cranes and transport equipment. We offer a great work environment and competitive remuneration for the right candidate.

To be considered for this role, the successful applicant will require:

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work under pressure and to problem solve on the go.
• Carry out diagnostics, modifications and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure scheduled and unscheduled work orders are completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Trade Certificate as a Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter.
• Valid Driver's Licence (Truck licence desirable).
• Previous experience in a Crane Technician role.
• Have a product knowledge of Liebherr, Terex and Tadano.
• Be self-motivated, able to work independently, and flexible to work after hours and weekends if required.
