About the role

As a Retail Assistant at Giant Chemist Harbour Town, you will be a key part of our dynamic team in our store located in Harbour Town Premium Outlets Biggera Waters, Gold Coast. Queensland. This full-time role will see you working at the heart of our retail operations, providing excellent customer service and support to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and assisting customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Handling cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Restocking and merchandising products to maintain a neat and visually appealing store
  • Providing product knowledge and recommendations to customers
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure a smooth and seamless shopping experience
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant store environment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing retail role, preferably within the pharmacy, supermarket or retail industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • A passion for the retail industry and a desire to contribute to the success of the business
