Transport Support Worker

Coast and Country Community Services Ltd is a non-for-profit organisation that has been providing vital services to the Shoalhaven community for over 30 years. We provide services to people who are transport disadvantaged, including people who are frail aged, younger people with disabilities and their carers. Our mission is to empower individuals and families to live their best lives. We take pride in our reputation for delivering high-quality, person-centered support to the community.

Due to company growth, we are looking for casual drivers to work 2 - 3 days a week depending on the individual. Core Business hours 8 am to 3:30 pm also flexible

Qualifications & experience

· NSW C class Driver's License together with a safe driving record (with no restrictions in the last 12 months)

· WWCC + NDIS worker screening check or willingness to obtain

· Experience in transporting passengers with disabilities, preferably in an educational or community services setting ideally.

Tasks & responsibilities

· Transporting students with disabilities to and from school using a specialised vehicle

· Providing transportation services for NDIS clients to and from appointments and activities

· Assisting clients with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including using any necessary mobility equipment

· Ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained, clean and safe for all passengers
