Beachcomber International Resort is currently looking for a casual cleaning/maintenance person to join their team.

The shifts will be Thursdays 4pm-10pm, Fridays & Saturday nights 3pm to 11pm.

The main responsibilities of this position are to lock and secure the resort after hours during the night shifts, cleaning of common areas, some minor maintenance & and to be on call during the shifts for any guests who need assistance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General cleaning of common areas including lifts BBQ's, saunas, Club lounge, gym, games room and foyer, rubbish removal & water plants
  • Minor maintenance duties as required
  • Check and log jobs in computer & carry resort mobile while on duty
  • Night shift security walk around building to check all exits and fire doors are closed with front door locked at 8pm and games room & rooftop locked at 9pm & all equipment is locked away
  • Check spa levels and clean spa sock
  • Plaza Bathrooms cleaning and replenishing supplies

KEY SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Good communication with a strong customer service focus
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Maintenance & cleaning experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of work place health and safety standards
  • Ability to use power tools according to the work health and safety standard
