Caretaker for 31 Apartment block

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Sydney Area for a Caretaker managing a 31-apartment block at Curve Apartments. The Caretaker will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the apartment block, including conducting regular inspections to ensure the facilities are in proper working condition. Daily tasks will include cleaning common areas, addressing minor repairs, supervising contractors for major repairs, managing waste disposal, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, the role involves communicating with residents to address maintenance requests and providing updates about building-related matters.

• Facility management and building maintenance skills
• Ability to perform minor repairs and coordinate with external contractors for specialised tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for resident interactions and handling inquiries effectively
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance regulations
• Basic administrative skills for managing records, scheduling, and planning maintenance activities
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and proactively
• Experience in property management or a related field is an advantage
• Availability to respond to urgent maintenance needs as required
