Farm Machinery Operator Position

Terara NSW, Australia RH Boyd & Son Pty Ltd Full time $50,000 - $70,000 per year

We are a dairy farm located in Nowra on the South Coast of NSW, we are 2 hours south of Sydney. As part of the dairy farm we grow a large amount of the feed ourselves locally including corn and triticale for silage and ryegrass pastures.

We are looking for skilled farm machinery operators to join the farm.

Hoping for immediate start but flexible within reason.

Depending on experience and the time of year jobs could include:

  • Daily feeding of cows
  • Unloading of hay and grain trucks
  • General loader and clean up/maintenance/fencing work around the farm
  • All activities associated with the preparation, planting, upkeep and harvest of winter and summer crops including ryegrass, cereal crops, corn and millet.
  • Majority of machinery work is done in house

These positions can be for full time local/permanent staff but also encourage skilled overseas ag machinery operators to apply that can commit to at least 6-8 months work.

A truck license is not essential for this position but could be an advantage.

Pay dependent on experience. Shared accommodation is also available on farm for seasonal staff.
