Venue/Operations Manager

Full-Time Permanent / Temporary / Short-Term Contract / Casual (various options available)

$110k - $130k PA

Are you a Hospitality Manager who has previous experience in overseeing a team in a high-volume restaurant, functions/events and/or bar/gaming venue?

We are looking for a talented, passionate, hospitality professional to lead our team at The Club Hotel-Motel Roma.

The Club Hotel-Motel Roma is a family-owned Pub based in Roma QLD. It consists of a Bar, Coffee Shop, Bottleshop Drive Thru, External Bottleshop, Functions area, Large Bistro area, Large Beer Garden, Large outdoor events area, and 20 Motel Rooms. We have a high level of customer service and are well known in Roma for our fantastic food, functions and events.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, implement & manage overall daily operations of the Hotel.
  • Monitor Outgoings, Income, Profit, Wages & Stock within the Business.
  • Grow & maintain relationships with suppliers, employees and key people within the Business.
  • Ensure all Licences, legislations, Gaming, Keno, TAB and Policies and procedures are up to date.
  • Oversee Marketing, Entertainment, Promotions and Events.
  • Maximise revenue and build the reputation of the Hotel.
  • Supervise Duty Managers and Casual Staff
  • Oversee POS System.

What we require from you:

  • The right candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role and hold a current RSA and RSG and is willing to obtain their RMLV and approved manager's licence.
