We're The Beautiful Bunch, a Melbourne-based floral delivery service and social enterprise, bringing joy through flowers and helping young women from refugee backgrounds to find their first job in Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're on the hunt for a creative, motivated Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join our team 3 days a week in our Brunswick East Studio and help bring our mission (and blooms) to life online.

Working closely with our Marketing & PR Manager, you'll support the execution of content briefs, manage our social media accounts, and play a hands-on role in growing our digital community across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social, has a sharp eye for beautiful content, and is excited to help tell our story in a way that connects, converts, and empowers.

CREATIVE STRATEGY AND PLANNING
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & PR Manager to shape our social media strategy, contribute creative ideas to monthly content plan, and help ensure content is aligned with our tone, purpose, and goals.
CONTENT CREATION AND PUBLISHING
  • Capture, edit and post video and photo content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & LinkedIn.
  • Design graphics and social media assets using Canva or Adobe Suite.
  • Manage a social calendar, schedule and publish posts using social media tools.
COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
  • Manage comments, DMs and mentions across platforms, and proactively engage with aligned brands and creators to help grow our community.
ANALYTICS AND REPORTING
  • Track performance metrics across channels, and share key insights with the team and recommend content optimisations.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates and algorithm changes.
NOT ESSENTIAL BUT HIGHLY REGARDED
  • Experience in photography and photo editing.
  • Knowledge of email marketing and CRM tools.
  • Drivers license.
  • A love of flowers (of course)
ABOUT YOU

You're a confident content creator with a love of storytelling, a strong visual eye, and a knack for bringing brands to life online. You're experienced with Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Canva, CapCut (or similar editing tools), and you stay across what's trending in short-form video and social-first design. With excellent written and verbal communication skills and highly developed interpersonal instincts, you know how to engage thoughtfully with people from diverse backgrounds. You thrive in fast-paced creative environments, take initiative, and bring a proactive approach to your work. Most importantly, you're strongly aligned with the values and vision of The Beautiful Bunch, and excited about the opportunity to use your skills to support a mission with real impact.
