We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Scheduler/Team Leader to join our team. This pivotal role ensures smooth delivery of care services by managing staff rosters and supporting our care team.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling & Rostering

  • Coordinate, plan, and manage daily and weekly rosters to ensure all client shifts are covered.
  • Match staff skills and availability with client needs and care plans.
  • Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts, cancellations, and urgent changes with minimal disruption.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date rostering records and workforce reports.
  • Act as the first point of contact for carers and clients regarding scheduling enquiries (phone/email).

Team Support & Leadership

  • Provide guidance and support to care staff across all shifts.
  • Monitor team performance, ensuring compliance with policies and care standards.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and performance development of staff.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Aged or Community Care
  • Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination (aged care/NDIS/home care desirable).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care and aged care compliance standards.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office and rostering systems (Visual Care an advantage).
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification (essential).
  • Current Driver's Licence.
