About the role:

Are you passionate about supporting individuals through challenging times and helping them find hope and strength in recovery? AnglicareCQ is seeking a compassionate and proactive Support Facilitator to join our team and deliver life-changing support through The Way Back Support Service.

You will work closely with individuals who have experienced a suicidal crisis or attempt, offering timely, trauma-informed, and recovery orientated support.

What will a typical day look like?

  • Collaborate with participants and their support networks to provide sustained, strengths-based care.
  • Deliver timely, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care aligned with Way Back Service principles.
  • Advocate for and facilitate referrals to community-based services tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Lead to develop tools and processes that enhance service delivery.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Diploma level qualifications in a Mental Health related field.

  • A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.

  • Full COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
  • Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
