The Role:

Catering Services Employee - Kitchenhand

To assist in the provision of catering services to meet the identified service needs of residents in ANHF Facilities. To provide services under the guidance and direction of the Facility Manager and Lead Cook.

Monday to Wednesday AM and PM shifts are available.

The Requirements:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in catering duties, especially in food preparation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in food safety.
  • Must have experience with Chinese Cuisine.
  • Evidence of a good team building, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good command of English
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of WHS, EEO and anti discrimination legislative requirements.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia
  • Responsible and reliable

Desirable:

  • Attained qualifications or certificates in food preparation/handling
  • Experience in catering or cleaning in residential aged care.
  • Able to understand/communicate in Chinese
  • Experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse populations.
