Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-focused nursing care
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary ED team
- Rotate through all areas of the department, including triage, resus, short stay, and fast track
- Mentor and support junior nurses and students
- Maintain professional standards in line with AHPRA, Code of Ethics, and Code of Professional Conduct
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and infection control standards
About You
Essential
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Commitment to patient safety, professional development, and quality care
- Full Australian working rights
Desirable
- Recent Emergency Department experience
- Postgraduate studies in Emergency or Critical Care (or willingness to complete)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
Additional Requirements
- National Police Check (current & satisfactory)
- Working with Children Check (for child-related roles)
- Compliance with staff immunisation requirements
