About the role
Are you a qualified Psychologist with an interest in working with young people & their families? CAHMS Bathurst has an exciting opportunity to join their supportive team.
Priding themselves in maintaining a culture of excellence & flexibility, whilst ensuring a high level of care is provided, this exciting opportunity provides a robust clinical & orientation to the role.
The successful applicant will work closely with the team leader, the clinical leader, and the wider team. They will be also linked in with a clinical supervisor and professional mentor.
The successful applicant will engage in robust clinical and operational orientation to the role, including the development and implementation of an individualised professional development pathway. This plan will include the core skills required to undertake the role and the persons own developmental interests in the area of CAMHS.
The Bathurst CAMHS team includes clinicians from nursing, social work, psychology, and psychiatry backgrounds, with support from dietetics and other allied health disciplines.
The team meet every morning to review new referrals and plan the day. Clinicians will then see young people and their families, conducting mental health assessments, providing therapy and care planning for improved mental wellbeing.
