
Nurse Practitioner

The ideal candidate should be a Registered Nurse with advanced education and clinical experience, authorised to diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and order diagnostic tests. You would be able to function at an advanced practice level, providing a broad range of healthcare services independently or collaboratively within a healthcare team. Proficiency in driving manual 4WD vehicles is a prerequisite, and applicants must be prepared to undergo Criminal History Checks before joining our organisation. The role will entail working beyond regular hours, as operationally required. FIFO candidates will also be considered for this role. At Umoona Tjutagku Health Service, we are committed to narrowing the health disparity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous populations in our community. As a member of our team, you will contribute to enhancing Aboriginal health through applying Primary Health Care principles within the clinic.
Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in nursing or above with advanced Nursing studies
• Full AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 Years experience at the Nurse Practitioner level
