Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Ripltec Pty Limited Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Seeking two Developers (1 Junior and 1 Senior) to build a set of apps and integrations across front-end (JavaScript, React, .NET) and back-end (.NET, C#), working closely with our technology lead. The developers will be part of a team to support the development of APIs, database schemas, and deploy to Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front End Development

  • Build and style user interfaces in Javascript, HTML and CSS (forms, dashboards, data tables, document uploads).

  • Implement responsive design and accessibility standards.
  • Integrate front end components with REST APIs.
  • Apply client-side validation, error handling, and loading state management.
  • Apply secure coding standards (RBAC, encryption, audit trails, compliance logging)

  • Back End Development

  • Assist in extending .NET Web APIs (controllers, services, DTOs).

  • Implement simple queries and migrations.
  • Contribute to authentication and role-based access implementation.

  • Database & Data Models

  • Understand entity-relationship database schemas.

  • Write and troubleshoot basic SQL queries.
  • Work with migration scripts and mappings.
  • Architect and refactor SQL-based relational schemas

  • Cloud & DevOps

  • Implement and support integrations with Azure Blob Storage for document management.

  • Deploy/test changes in Azure App Services with guidance from seniors.
  • Review pipeline logs (CI/CD in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).

  • Quality & Testing

  • Write and run unit tests (Qase, others).

  • Use Postman for API verification.
  • Participate in regression/UAT test cycles.

  • Agile Ways of Working

  • Work on Jira tickets; maintain clear updates and progress tracking.

  • Document work in Confluence (or SharePoint).

  • Join sprint rituals (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives).

  • Required experience

  • 5 + years for the Senior Developer

  • 2+ years for the Junior Developer
Nice to Have
  • Experience within the education, or professional assessment and evaluation sectors.
  • Exposure to graph databases or hybrid data models.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML solutions.
  • Business Analysis skills, experience or qualifications
