Boton has been established in the Australian market for several years- Recently ticking over 300km of supplied belt to a major iron ore customer. Earlier this year, Boton made the commitment to enter the service business as a full scope conveyor maintenance and rubberlining supplier. With an established workforce and customer base we are now looking to expand our capacity and capabilities. Position Description: Field Service Belt Splicer - Full Time and Casual positions available.

Reporting to the coordinator, the belt splicers tasks will include but are not limited to, working on customer sites, responding to any breakdown on customer sites as required, belt installation, fabric and steel cord splicing, hot and cold repairs, equipment and shutdown preparation, general conveyor maintenance and inspections on conveyor belts and associated components.

Knowledge and Experience:

Level 1 and above belt splicer with relevant conveyor experience in all splicing, repairs, belt change outs, inserts, re-splices, equipment operation and shutdown preparation.

Qualifications/Tickets:

• Current Driver's License
• HR License (Desirable)
• High Risk Work License including Forklift, Basic Rigging, EWP. (Desirable)
• Certificate in Polymer Processing (Desirable)
