The Team

ONI's Psychological Services team is a dynamic and growing team. We provide ONI with a range of services including, but not limited to, initial and ongoing assessment of employee suitability to work in a high-security environment, in house psychological intervention/counselling for staff and management, provision of evidence-informed psycho-education programs in addition to coaching and team building initiatives.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a motivated and experienced psychologist who values diversity in their day-to-day professional activities, is passionate about supporting others, and brings a strong clinical foundation alongside a collaborative approach to their work. Our ideal candidate will also have:

· Demonstrated experience in conducting clinical assessments using case formulation methodology.

· The ability to communicate psychological opinions and advice to support organisational functions.

· The ability to manage competing priorities with fluctuating workloads.

· Well-developed problem-solving skills.

· A strong team-oriented approach.

Key Attributes

Our ideal candidate would demonstrate:

· Proven capability in delivering a range of clinical interventions.

· Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological assessments across various contexts.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills across a range of forums.

· Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritise and manage your workload.

Skills and qualifications:

· Post-graduate studies, or completing studies in Clinical, Organisational, or Forensic Psychology; and

· at least two years post-registration experience

· unconditional registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
