Westar Trucks in Derrimut seeks a qualified, experienced individual to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
  • Conducting thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
  • Utilising diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues accurately.
  • Collaborating with the service team to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients.

Job Requirements:

  • Heavy Vehicle Technician qualification.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles, particularly trucks.
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems in heavy vehicles.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

On Offer:

  • Salary negotiated on experience plus overtime
  • A $5000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible qualified Heavy Vehicle Technicians. $2500 will be paid after 30 days and upon completion of the probation period.
