Network and Security Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Network and Security Operations Specialist to manage and maintain critical network and security infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and optimal performance across multiple platforms. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and address operational challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network systems, primarily focusing on Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco (Switching & Routing).
  • Resolve complex networking issues with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Leverage ServiceNow for incident management, adhering to ITIL best practices.
  • Work with teams to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network and security issues.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in network and security operations within an MSP or large enterprise environment
  • Hands-on experience with Firewalls (Palo Alto or Fortinet), Cisco Switches and Routers, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring systems
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, PCNSE, ITIL or equivalent desirable

  • $125,000 - $130,000 Base + Super + Allowances + Paid On-Call + Bonus
