Job Description
- Provide daily surveillance monitoring of the Delivery Partner's site activities regarding general construction progress, safety, environmental, quality, community stakeholder impacts, risks and issues
- Assist with the review and monitoring of construction methodologies, Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Inspection Test Records and checklists (ITR / ITC) ensuring highest standards of quality assurance & control;
- Undertake Hold and Witness Points
- Review and comment on Delivery Partners' quality report submissions, including undertaking quality audits as deemed required;
- Reporting of Non Conformance & Defects
- Ensure all testing requirements are adhered to on site and at source as required, including attending quality audits as deemed required;
- Maintain contemporaneous records of inspections, including daily diaries, productivity update, induction records, photographs, videography, as constructed drawings of progress and monthly progress reports;
- Assist in the evaluation of works completed for monthly progress claims, and assist with progress reporting;
- Ensure that the Delivery Partner provides all information as required under the Delivery Contract and any other stakeholder agreements;
- Provide advice and assist with the preparation of any correspondence;
- Review standards and manuals and advise on alignment to industry best practice. Ensure all activities are in compliance with project manuals and requirements;
- Actively participate in start up & toolbox talks, project workshops, lessons learned and various required meetings;
- Completion of hazards, incidents and heads up conversations;
- Comply Health and Safety Management Plans, and monitor Delivery Partner's compliance on site;
- Attend and participate in safety investigations including ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method), lessons learnt and other ensuring adherence to Health Safety and Environmental site obligations.
Qualifications
- Full working rights and be currently in Australia.
- Full Drivers Licence
- A recognised Degree Qualification or industry recognised qualification
- Experience producing high quality reports for stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report writing skills.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering value and excellence to your clients.
