The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the timely delivery of monthly financial processes and compliance obligations.

Your new role

  • Support the Assistant Accountant to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, payroll tax, withholding tax, and FBT returns
  • Prepare group company income tax returns
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis
  • Prepare statutory financial reports
  • Manage fixed assets and intercompany transactions
  • Collaborate with international colleagues and provide support with GST, reconciliation etc

Your experience

  • Proven experience preparing BAS, FBT, statutory financial reports, and corporate tax returns
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in managing month-end processes and delivering timely reports
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently completing certification
  • Possess high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
