The role of the Financial Accounting Team Leader is to handle end-to-end financial accounting for Flight Centre Travel Group's Australian Leisure Brand, including General Ledger Close Process management, monthly reporting, and supporting EOFY and Half-Year audits. The Team Leader will be responsible for accounting for stores, online and luxury brands, marketing, and support divisions, covering cash, debtors, creditors, revenue recognition, wages, expenses, and management fees. The role requires strong financial control, diligence, proactive problem solving, customer and teamwork skills, time management, and adaptability.

What You'll Do:

  • Play a crucial role in leading the accounting team to achieve our area and brand goals whilst providing guidance and support to help team members develop their skills and achieve their potential.
  • Manage End-to-End Financial Accounting: Oversee the General Ledger Close Process, monthly reporting, and support EOFY and Half-Year audits.
  • Lead Across Multiple Divisions: Handle accounting for stores, online and luxury brands, marketing, and support divisions.
  • Comprehensive Financial Oversight: Manage cash, debtors, creditors, revenue recognition, wages, expenses, and management fees.
