Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

About the role

We're seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Azure DevOps team as a senior individual contributor. This is a hands-on role focused on building, automating, and improving cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines in a mature enterprise environment.

You'll work closely with the DevOps Technical Lead and broader engineering teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable Azure solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and implementing Azure infrastructure using Bicep
  • Developing robust automation using PowerShell (object-oriented, modular, reusable code)
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Supporting application teams with DevOps tooling, patterns, and automation
  • Improving reliability, security, and performance of cloud platforms
  • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure and pipeline issues
  • Contributing to shared standards and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer

  • Strong hands-on skills with:

  • Azure services and platform engineering

  • Bicep for infrastructure as code
  • PowerShell as a development language (beyond simple scripting)
  • Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience operating in enterprise or regulated environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and contribute as a senior technical voice
