About the role

Mayfield Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist (Grade 2) to join our team in Frankston on a full-time or flexible basis. As an Occupational Therapist/Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients, helping with independence and improve their quality of life.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify patients' needs, strengths and limitations
  • Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to help your clients achieve their goals
  • Providing hands-on therapy and coaching to clients, including the use of AAC, adaptive equipment and strategies.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathology and Psychology.
  • Documenting clients progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Participating in team meetings, you will be supported by senior Therapists and we would like you to contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and Clinic.

What we're looking for

  • Fully registered Occupational Therapist with a current AHPRA registration; OR full registration as a Speech Pathologist with SPA.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an OT/SP with experience with Paediatrics and we are also looking for graduates with terms to be discussed.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
  • Proficient in the use of relevant assessment tools and therapy techniques
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
