Warehouse Manager – Inventory & Stock Control

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory accuracy, and build a reliable system to control stock levels for our fast-growing solar and battery distribution business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, dispatch, and storage of goods
  • Develop and implement a complete inventory control system to manage stock levels, track movements, and prevent stock discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate stock records in real time (inbound, outbound, damaged, returned items)
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts
  • Oversee packaging, labelling, and preparation of goods for installation teams and interstate dispatch
  • Work closely with procurement and operations teams to forecast stock needs and plan replenishment
  • Ensure the warehouse meets safety, compliance, and quality-control standards
  • Supervise warehouse staff and optimise workflow efficiency
  • Improve warehouse processes, layout, and documentation to support business expansion
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager / Inventory Controller
  • Strong knowledge of stock-management systems, barcoding, and workflow optimisation
  • Ability to design or improve inventory systems (software or manual processes)
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple product lines
  • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in solar/battery or electrical products is an advantage
