About the role

Baibuilt Constructions is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year apprentice Carpenter along with qualified carpenters to join our rapidly growing team. This is a full-time role where you will work alongside experienced carpenters, learning the trade and gaining valuable on-the-job experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting in the construction, installation of all carpentry works
  • Learning how to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
  • Gaining experience in the safe use of power tools
  • Participating in the construction of framing, roofing, eaves, cladding, decking and much more
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

  • A passion for the carpentry trade and a desire to learn
  • Strong problem-solving and manual dexterity skills
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Willingness to undertake formal training and obtain relevant qualifications
  • Commitment to working safely and adhering to all health and safety procedures
