Step into a key leadership position as Duty Manager, where you'll ensure every guest has an extraordinary experience. This role is more than just a job - it's a unique opportunity to grow your hospitality career in a supportive, community-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee restaurant reservations and bookings.
  • Ensure all administrative controls and business reporting fully comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Undertake the planning and organizing of special functions.
  • Select, train and supervise wait staff, kitchen staff and all other personnel on site.
  • Support the Management team in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of service in our bar, restaurant, and accommodation.
  • Be the point of contact for guest inquiries, ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience, from check-in to checkout.
  • Assist in managing stock, scheduling, and staff performance while maintaining efficient operations and adhering to budget targets.
  • Assist in ensuring the venue adheres to health and safety guidelines, licensing laws, and all regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Applicants should have formal qualifications and at least 1 years of relevant employment experience or, in the absence of formal qualifications, have at least 3 years of relevant employment experience.
  • Current Approved Manager License, RMLV, RSA, RSG and CLO (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience managing teams in a hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership, training, and motivational skills with excellent communication
  • Availability to work hospitality hours.
  • Ability to manage conflict and remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience in a high-volume food, bar, function, gaming, and retail environment.

Position Offering:

  • Full-Time Hours
  • Permanent
  • Salary between $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation
