About the role

This is a full-time Shed Hand role with Sizer and Cogill Bulk and General Carriers Pty Ltd based in Stuart, QLD 4811. You will be responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of the company's warehousing and distribution facilities.

What you'll be doing

  • Unloading and loading trucks, trailers and containers
  • Ensuring inventory and stock levels are accurately maintained
  • Assisting with the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse
  • Performing general warehouse duties such as cleaning, sweeping and shoveling
  • Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
  • Adhering to quality control standards and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar logistics environment preferred but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
  • Forklift license or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to record and maintain stock levels and record movements in and out
  • Commitment to be reliable and willing to work in all weather conditions
