The Role
As our Pedagogical Leader, you will play a central role in shaping and strengthening our educational program. This position is based off the floor, providing you with the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators to enhance practice and ensure alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and the philosophy of our service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading curriculum development and fostering a culture of inquiry.
- Mentoring and coaching educators to build professional capacity.
- Supporting critical reflection and innovative teaching practices.
- Partnering with families and the community to enhance learning outcomes.
- Driving quality improvement and embedding best practice across the service.
About You
We are looking for an educator who is:
- A strong leader with excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- Confident in pedagogy, curriculum, and compliance requirements.
- Passionate about continuous professional growth and inspiring others.
- Experienced in leading reflective practice and team collaboration.
- A believer in play-based learning, inclusion, and child agency.
Qualifications required:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA).
- Current VIT registration or equivalent accreditation.
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, VEYLDF, and NQS.
