Wangaratta Mazda is seeking experienced Used Vehicle Manager

Working closely with the Dealer Principal, this position represents an excellent opportunity to help grow our Used Vehicle sales volume and provide our customers with quality pre-owned vehicle options

The successful candidate will demonstrate effective, genuine and relevant communication skills - the drive to achieve results and the ability to self-motivate. They will have previous automotive dealership experience in sales.

Your duties will include:

Sales Leadership:

  • Support and mentor the sales team to close used vehicle sales to hit our Used Vehicle sales targets
  • Develop strategy to optimise used vehicle sales performance
  • Motivate sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

Inventory Management:

  • Coordinate acquisition, reconditioning and disposal of used car inventory
  • Manage used vehicle inventory turnover and profitability
  • Trade in valuations
  • Maintain quality used vehicle advertising

Relationship management:

  • Develop strong relationships with customers, vendors and other stakeholders
  • Manage used vehicle customer enquiries and feedback

What you will bring to the role:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role or extensive used vehicle sales experience
  • Proven experience in all aspects of used vehicle operation including wholesale and acquisition experience
  • Strong knowledge of automotive industry
  • Ability to profile customer needs
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills

The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary package depending on experience including a fully maintained motor vehicle.
