About Lagree Fitness
Developed by Los Angeles based, Sebastien Lagree, Lagree Fitness is the best and only method to effectively balance high intensity with low impact movements. The Lagree Method is specifically engineered to strengthen, tighten, and tone the muscles effectively and efficiently without adding any excessive stress on the joints, connective tissues, and the spine.
Lagree is not Pilates, and the Megaformer is not a reformer.
Lagree Fitness has distinguished itself from every form of exercise. The Lagree Method utilises tried and proven bodybuilding training techniques not inherent to Pilates. The union of these bodybuilding techniques and low-impact qualities, which are fundamental to Lagree Fitness, directly translate to rapid results. Lagree Fitness is fundamentally based on the following: Effective Form, Effective Range of Motion, Effective Tempo, Effective Duration, Effective Sequence, Effective Transition, Effective Tension, and Effective Plane of Motion.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that the studio, including microphones, is well maintained and adequately equipped before and after each instructed class.
- Verbal and physical screening: ensuring all members are safe to participate and are advised of what to do if they are not.
- Deliver and design classes and showcase your creativity according to the class style that you are teaching.
- Teach classes of mixed ability, understand and cater for varying needs within a class, offering adaptions and, progressions and modifications where necessary.
- Observe participants during classes and ensure their technique is suitable.
- Offer variety in class, using variations of the Lagree Method and equipment.
- Provide first aid, where and if necessary
- Report any risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct yourself professionally

Requirements:
- Certified 3 & 4 in fitness
- Current 1st Aid + CPR
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Must have previous experience teaching group fitness or reformer Pilates classes
- Referrals
