We're currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mechanical Fitter and/or Diesel Fitter to join our team in our Gympie Workshop. This hands-on role suits someone with strong mechanical aptitude, trade experience, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Mechanical fitting and assembly of new plant, equipment, and Prime mover trailers.
  • Maintenance and repairs on fixed and mobile machinery in the Workshop and On-site.
  • Assisting with installations, shutdowns, and on-site servicing as required
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults
  • Ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule
  • Keeping the workshop and tools in a clean, safe condition

What We're Looking For:
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter and/or Diesel Fitter)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Experience in industrial or heavy fabrication environments (advantageous)
  • High attention to detail and commitment to WHS procedures
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Forklift License and White Card (desirable)
