About the role

Join the team at Guitar Exchange as a part-time Sales Assistant. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and assisting customers in finding the perfect musical instruments and accessories to suit their needs. The position is based at our Morayfield store. If you play an instrument and love retail we would love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and approachable manner
  2. Actively listen to customer requirements and provide tailored recommendations
  3. Demonstrate and showcase musical instruments and equipment to customers
  4. Process sales transactions and handle cash and card payments
  5. Maintain store presentation and merchandising standards
  6. Assist with stock management and replenishment tasks
  7. Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  1. Passion for music and musical instruments
  2. Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales role
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and solo
  5. Enthusiasm, reliability and a positive attitude
  6. Position is for three full days but could become a full-time roll.
