The Opportunity
Are you ready to drive impactful change and build strong connections? The Monash University Library is looking for experienced professionals to join our Library Business Partner team and help us to shape the future of our Library services.
In this role you will:
- Act as a strategic partner working with Monash University faculties and business units.
- Identify opportunities for the Library to support the University's goals.
- Build and maintain high-level relationships to ensure that the University Library services meet the needs of our academic community.
- Advocate for the Library, promote our services, and act as a vital link between the Library and its stakeholders.
Take responsibility for:
- Forging strong, strategic relationships with faculties and portfolios.
- Communicating important messages and ensuring feedback informs decision-making.
- Serving as the primary contact for the Library within faculties.
- Assessing needs and helping to develop sustainable, scalable solutions.
- Collaborating with Library Portfolio areas to ensure a unified approach.
- Advising senior Library leadership on strategic initiatives and emerging trends.
- Contributing to Library planning and representing the Library on external committees and projects.
To succeed you will bring your:
- Postgraduate qualifications in librarianship, information management, or higher education.
- Extensive experience in outreach, engagement, and library service delivery.
- Deep understanding of research and education in Australian Higher Education.
- Proven ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key partners.
- Excellent business analysis, project management, and strategic thinking skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
