About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Surveyor to join our growing team. This is a field-based role supporting a wide range of cadastral, construction, civil, and drone aerial survey projects across the Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast, and Sydney regions.
You'll work closely with multiple Registered Surveyors, contributing to subdivision projects, strata/community developments, and infrastructure works—utilizing the latest in surveying equipment and drone technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys for various project types including cadastral, subdivisions, strata, civil, and construction.
 - Execute daily fieldwork under guidance from one or more Registered Surveyors.
 - Assist and help manage surveyor assistants in the field.
 - Communicate effectively with Registered Surveyors to ensure project expectations and specifications are understood and met.
 - Collect, manage, and upload field data, field notes, and photos into project job files.
 - Liaise with onsite personnel including clients and contractors.
 - Ensure all work complies with company and client safety standards.
 - Uphold company policies, procedures, and client service values at all times.
 
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of three years surveying experience in the field and office preferred (graduates welcome to apply).
 - Tertiary qualification in Surveying (TAFE Diploma or University Degree)
 - Experience in field surveying, including cadastral and construction work
 - Current drivers licence and white card
 - Strong communication and team collaboration skills
 - Ability to manage workloads independently and responsibly in the field
 - Understanding of project safety requirements and commitment to safe work practices
 
Equipment & Software Exposure:
- Survey Equipment: Trimble and Leica Robotic Total Stations, Trimble Laser Scanner, Drone, GPS
