Composites Technician

What You'll Do

We're looking for hands-on, detail-driven Composites Technicians to join our growing team. Whether your strengths are in fabrication, lamination, tooling, surface prep, or finishing, you'll play a key part in crafting world-class composite structures right here on the Sunshine Coast.

• Manufacture and finish high-quality composite parts and moulds using fibreglass, carbon fibre, resins, and hybrid materials
• Prepare moulds, apply gel coats, resins, and reinforcements, and perform vacuum infusion or RTM Lite processes
• Trim, sand, and polish finished components to meet precision standards
• Support tooling and prototype builds in collaboration with our CNC and design teams
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace — with pride in every part you build
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, quality, and efficiency

What You'll Bring

• Experience in composites, boatbuilding, automotive, or similar fabrication industries
• Strong hand-tool skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new materials, methods, and digital manufacturing techniques
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship
• Trade qualification (Cert III in Composites, Marine, Automotive, or equivalent) desirable
