Position Description

Sync Lift Engineering currently have exciting opportunities available for Boilermakers, to join our growing Gladstone site services division. In this role you will be performing tasks such as:

  • Fabricating and repairing pot shells, frames, support structures & bars.
  • Fitting and aligning new and refurbished components.
  • Removing worn and damaged components such as anode yokes and busbar connections.
  • Ensuring all welds meet QA/QC standards.

We have a number of positions available for ongoing rostered work on a number of sites in the Gladstone region. To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Heavy Industry Experience
  • Current 3 Site Medipass or ability to obtain
  • Current Working at Heights certificate
  • Current Confined Space certificate
  • Current Gas Test Atmospheres certificate
  • Positive Attitude to Health & Safety Excellence
  • Great Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Successful candidates must be able to meet all site entry requirements inclusive of drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.

The following qualifications are highly regarded:

  • EWP
  • Telehandler
  • Forklift
  • Overhead crane
  • Rigging or dogger
