Outback Batteries is searching for an ambitious and proactive Store Manager to lead our Toowoomba team. About the Role
As the face of our Toowoomba branch, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations with a strong focus on performance, people, and customer service. You will manage store operations, coach your team, and drive performance aligned with business objectives. This role requires you to take ownership of safety, compliance, and store presentation to maintain a professional and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily team briefings and align the team to store sales goals.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Oversee sales transactions, quoting, and stock management.
- Mentor staff in customer service, product knowledge, and safety practices.
- Monitor store targets, customer satisfaction metrics, and operational KPIs.
- Actively look for opportunities to improve store performance and enhance the customer experience.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with customers and collaborate with other Store Managers to share ideas and best practices.
What You Bring
- Experience: You have 3+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong track record of delivering high levels of customer service. You are experienced in managing day-to-day store operations, including stock control, sales processing, and financial accuracy.
- Leadership: You lead by example and have the ability to empower and develop your team, ensuring high levels of engagement and accountability.
- Commercial Acumen: You understand the market you operate in and actively seek opportunities to increase revenue and control costs. You are skilled in monitoring KPIs and leading a team to achieve sales targets.
- Customer Focus: You put the customer at the center of everything you do, ensuring every interaction is helpful, respectful, and solution-focused.

The Package
- $86,200 PA Salary plus super
- Achievable Bonus System offering in excess of $20,000 in additional earnings
