About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Content Creator to join our team to drive awareness, engagement and conversion of our brands on the biggest social media platforms. And it's rarer still for an opportunity to present itself where you're creating content for such an innovative range of products and brands. You will be an integral contributor to the company's success, maintaining close relationships with multiple stakeholders across the Directed Group, external parties and working cross functionally to provide content support for the successful delivery of projects.

Meet your new team

The Content Creator is a part of our growing Digital & Marketing team, a fun, high energy team that plays an essential role in leading all the eCommerce, marketplaces, digital marketing, web development and creative production activities at Directed. This team owns the strategy and execution of the eCommerce, marketplace and digital marketing plan to drive sales for the group. It also conceptualises, creates and executes all design material to support business wide activity for all brands and divisions.

What will keep you busy?

Our Content Creator will be a trend setter who owns content creation and community management, and will see you:

• Planning and creating video content for social media channels for the brands within the group that delivers to brand KPI's, ensure content delivers to tone of voice requirements.
• Working with the wider digital and marketing teams to develop and deliver video content on time, within budget and ensure they are compliant with brand and legal guidelines.
• Develop and maintain briefing documentation, as well as cross functional processes to deliver content outputs effectively and efficiently, documenting and communicating processes as needed.
• Undertake review to ensure social media content trends are understood and where relevant, deliver these trends for engaging content.
• Oversee all community management requirements across social media platforms and respond to social media enquiries and contacts within agreed timeframe.

The successful candidate

Our ideal candidate for this role will be able to highlight the engaging content they've created, and demonstrate:

• Content creation for social channels (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) working with cross-functional teams for a company/group with multiple brands, products or categories.
• An interest in or experience creating video content for consumer electronics products.
• Good copywriting skills and experience with process creation and compliance.
• Community management – proactively monitoring and responding on social channels.
• Expert skills on social channels and experience in content creation software e.g. Canva, planning software e.g. Hootsuite and video editing software.
• A dynamic, enthusiastic personality matched with great communication, presentation, time management and organisational skills.
