As well being firmly entrenched in Brisbane's vibrant dining culture, Supernormal and Bar Miette are also a part of Trader House, a collective of restaurants, bars, and specialty retail stores by Melbourne-based chef, cookbook author, and columnist Andrew McConnell, and photographer Jo McGann. Andrew and Jo proudly own and operate Gimlet, Apollo Inn, Cutler, Cumulus Inc., Builders Arms Hotel, Supernormal (Melbourne & Brisbane), Bar Miette, Meatsmith Heritage Butcher, and Morning Market.
About the role:
Our bar team is professional, fast-paced and excited. This is not a 'hands-off' bar job. You'll have regular training sessions, in-situ learning and regular opportunities and encouragement to help shape our wide-ranging beverage program and bar team You'll be working alongside chefs, sommeliers and bartenders of various skill levels in an energetic environment with a lot of moving parts. This often means each shift is very different, and requires flexibility without ego.
