About the Opportunity

The Bottle-O, Narara is looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Retail Assistant to join our team. You'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting. You will be passionate about building rapport, sharing product knowledge, and helping customers discover something new, whether it's a boutique wine, a local craft beer, or a premium spirit. The position will be 10-15 hours per week and require flexibility around different shifts.

In this Role

  • Greeting customers warmly, answering product-related questions, and offering tailored recommendations based on their preferences
  • Operating the point-of-sale system efficiently, handling cash and card payments, and ensuring accurate transactions.   
  • Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, and replenishing shelves   
  • Keeping the store clean, organised, and visually appealing  
  • Ensuring all sales are conducted in accordance with Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations.
