**Role Summary:**

We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Cook/Food Services Assistant to join our kitchen team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for meal preparation, food orders, menu planning, and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality in a residential aged care setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in aged care and has a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a friendly personality.

Please note that desirable experience and qualifications include a Trade Certificate in Cookery or similar qualification, Certificate II or III in Hospitality, and experience in hospitality and residential aged care Food Services of at least 1 year.

As a valued member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of assistants, liaising with internal staff, external suppliers, and families, and providing a high-quality dining experience for residents.

You will also be responsible for supporting and providing a high standard of food safety in preparation and serving of meals and hospitality services.
