Housekeeper – Rumi on Louth (Eyre Peninsula, SA)

Private island resort | Eco-luxury destination | Casual & Full-Time Roles Available

Rumi on Louth is a privately-owned, off-grid luxury eco-resort located on the breathtaking Louth Island off South Australia's Eyre Peninsula. We're seeking detail-oriented and hardworking Housekeepers to join our close-knit hospitality team.

As a Housekeeper at Rumi, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our guest villas, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to the highest possible standard, contributing to the seamless and restorative experience our guests enjoy.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Servicing guest rooms and communal areas with exceptional attention to detail
  • Restocking amenities and maintaining cleanliness in accordance with resort standards
  • Assisting with laundry, turn-down service, and deep cleaning tasks as required
  • Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring guest comfort at all times
  • Upholding hygiene and safety protocols in all housekeeping procedures
About You
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in hotels, resorts, or private residences (preferred)
  • Physically fit, reliable, and able to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Pride in presentation and a genuine commitment to high cleaning standards
  • Comfortable working in a remote location and on a rotating roster (weekends & public holidays)
  • Warm and discreet approach when interacting with guests
Requirements
  • Must be eligible to work in Australia
  • Current Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • First Aid certificate (preferred)
  • Experience in luxury or eco-tourism environments highly regarded
