About the role:
As a Mentor in our Workforce Australia Team, you'll be a driving force in helping people overcome barriers and take confident steps into employment. You'll work alongside individuals from all walks of life, helping them unlock their potential, build lasting independence and achieve real-world success. If you thrive on purpose and connection, this role delivers both.
What you'll be doing:
Your focus will be on building trusted, meaningful relationships with customers. You'll help them navigate challenges, identify strengths and move forward with tailored action plans that connect them to employment, training or support services. You'll champion their progress, celebrate milestones, and be a steady source of encouragement as they work toward long-term goals.
In this role, you will:
- Provide individual mentoring, guidance and motivation at every stage of their journey
- Complete assessments, identify development opportunities and coordinate referrals
- Liaise with employers, training organisations and community networks
- Keep accurate records and ensure service delivery meets all quality and compliance standards
- Collaborate with your team to drive innovation, outcomes and continuous improvement

To thrive in this role, you'll have:
- Experience in a customer-focused industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse needs
- A knack for problem-solving and the resilience to handle fast-paced, target-driven environments
- An understanding of what 'job ready' really means for different individuals
- High computer literacy
