About the role

Are you an experienced and passionate Chef looking to join a vibrant hospitality group? Hotel Traralgon is seeking a talented Chef to join our team in our Traralgon, VIC 3844 location. This is a full-time role where you will play a key part in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients

  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones

  • Ensuring all health, safety and food hygiene standards are met

  • Providing guidance and training to junior kitchen staff

  • Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver seamless dining experiences

  • Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-volume hospitality environment

  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing meals

  • Excellent time management, multitasking and problem-solving abilities

  • A team-oriented approach and the ability to work well under pressure

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations

  • Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
