This is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure to planned surgery processes, develop confidence in hospital workflows, and grow your admin capability in a role that really contributes to patient care.

We are seeking a Waitlist Officer to support the Planned Surgery Waitlist process for 8 hours per week. Hours and the day are flexible (between Monday–Friday).

Role Overview

You will be working alongside the Waitlist Coordinator to support the allocation and coordination of planned procedures in line with surgery policy.

Your day could include contacting patients with appointment / surgery dates, assembling paperwork for day surgery and clinics, liaising with doctors regarding referrals and categories, running small audits and correcting data where needed.

To thrive in this role, you will have great communication skills, strong time management and accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail. Experience in healthcare or planned surgery is a plus but not essential — if you are eager to learn and grow, we will support you with full on-the-job training.
