As Centre Director, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring smooth and effective management.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of passionate educators.
  • Drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families and the community.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director and Educational Leader to deliver high-quality programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and implement the Quality Improvement Plan.
  • Celebrate wins—big and small—with your team and children

What you will bring:

  • Proven leadership experience within the early childhood education sector.
  • A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved).
  • Experience as a Nominated Supervisor or Centre Director.
  • Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and relevant legislation.
  • Strong communication and team-building skills.
  • A genuine passion for early learning, with a creative and positive approach.
  • Experience with Qikkids, Xplor, or Humanforce (desirable but not essential).
  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification, WWVP, and Child Protection training.
