Job Description: Role: APISolution Designer · Knowledgeon various emerging technologies including proven past experience in designingand developing customer facing web applications · Converthigh level architecture blueprints into detailed system design includinganalysing solution options, solution risks.· Producedesign artefacts inclusive of component diagrams, sequence diagrams· Providein -depth technical leadership and guidance for the API delivery and governanceteams to ensure compliance with existing Architecture Standards.· Becapable of independently orchestrating discussions with business stakeholders,architects and designers/leads from other system areas.· Bringstrong verbal and written communication skills and be able to present to seniorstakeholders and negotiate with teams for alignment.· Bean expert on APIs and have extensive experience with API design and developmentin the past including API lifecycle, API security, Integration Patterns, Synchand Asynch operations, API performance. · Bringdeep understanding of working of modern web application in a micro serviceslandscape including authentication, security, scaling, performance and othernon -functional elements. · Leadingthe review of work (individual and team) and providing guidance, advice andassistance to less experienced colleagues as required· Leadingthe investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of performance issues for APIs andweb services.· Experiencewith event streaming with Kafka and working with Avro schema is an advantage Mandatory Skils : ∙ API lifecycle, API security, Integration Patterns, Synch and Asynch operations,API performance & API design and development∙ microservices landscape including authentication, security, scaling,performance and other non -functional elements, Kafka.
