ChoiceOne is seeking experienced Painter Blasters for multiple roles across Perth metro workshops and remote DIDO / FIFO sites. These positions offer excellent conditions, steady hours, and the chance to work with respected leaders in the mining, heavy industrial and transport sectors.

About the Role

You will be responsible for high-quality painting and blasting work across a range of large industrial equipment and components.

Key duties include:

  • For Forrestfield location spray painting trucks, transport equipment, vessels & structural steel.
  • Sandblasting and preparing surfaces to required standards.
  • Accurate mixing and matching of paints (including 2-pack).
  • Reading and following job instructions.
  • Maintaining work records and completing tasks safely.

What You Need
  • Trade-qualified Spray Painter (minimum 2 years' experience).
  • Experience with large surface areas and structural steel.
  • Strong understanding of painting and surface prep techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good communication and time management.
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

Highly Desirable
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
  • Overhead crane experience.
  • Automotive or heavy vehicle background.
  • Ability to pass medical & drug/alcohol screening.
  • National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
