Our client is a well-regarded professional services firm with offices across Queensland, recognised for combining technical expertise with a client-first approach. The practice supports a diverse portfolio of clients – from small and medium businesses and family groups to agribusiness and larger corporate entities – providing them with tailored solutions in tax, accounting, audit and financial planning. Whilst backed by the scale and resources of a multi-office firm, their branch offices maintain a close-knit, approachable culture where collaboration and personalised service are at the heart of everything they do. 

Our client's office located at Brisbane's inner north is now looking for an Intermediate Tax Accountant to join the team. This role will see you working closely with Senior Accountants and managers, preparing tax returns, BAS and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals, as well as assisting with tax planning and business advisory work. You will gain exposure to diverse clients across different industries whilst developing both your technical knowledge and client management skills. 

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years' experience in Australian public practice, solid knowledge of tax and compliance and be studying towards or have commenced their CA/CPA. Strong communication, attention to detail and a proactive mindset are essential. 

This position offers the chance to work in a conveniently located suburban office, close to public transport, whilst enjoying the variety and growth opportunities of a larger firm network. It's an excellent step forward for an Intermediate Accountant wanting to broaden their experience and career pathway.
